The price of eggs isn't down. I paid $6.29 on Friday and Aldi and just paid $6.59 this morning at Aldi.

The only price that is down is gas. I paid $3.09 last week and paid $2.85 yesterday.

Other than gas, everything else still has a high price tag. And the products are shrinking. I noticed the bottle of juice I usually grab at the bodega in the bottom of my office building increased by $0.50 and the size shrunk from 12 floz to 10 floz. The box of pasta I always buy shrank from 16 oz to 12 oz. And I don't know what they're doing to ground beef, but 1 lb of it is not the same as it was months ago after cooking. Recipes I've made for years are now coming out wonky with not enough meat/portions for my family of 4 despite the package indicating 1.3 lbs or 1.5 lbs.  [/quote]
