+1, using schools for activities on the weekend affects a very, very small population of FCPS students. No one cares except

Hmm, almost every school is booked solid for community use every weekend. Including churches, scouts, sports using the cafeteria, auditorium, fields gyms. That's thousands and thousands of kids easily. [/quote]

You may be referring to middle schools and high schools, but I’ve been with FCPS for decades, and this is simply not true of elementary schools that make up HALF of the facilities - they are not “booked solid”.[/quote]
