Instead of closing schools we should put pressure on businesses and homeowners to clear walks so kids can get to school. We should remind parents to make sure kids have the right winter footwear. My school has a church partnership that helps make sure kids have what they need for winter, and adding boots to the list is certainly within the realm of possibility.[/quote]
