Biden didn't somehow make it through. The mega donors wanted Biden because he was a known commodity; a base of the party politician that won't upset the apple cart and will serve loyally to the interests of the mega donors. Party leaders created the narrative "Biden is the only one that can beat Trump" to give the mega donors what they wanted. Trump was very vulnerable in 2020 while his disastrous 1st term was fresh in everyone's mind and just about anyone could have beaten him. Biden pleased the mega donors for four years and then handed The White House back to Trump. Case closed.[/quote]
