NP here. There was one at our game this weekend. He stood on the same side as the teams, in the middle (as if he were a medical trainer or ref) so no interaction with parents whatsoever. The coaches told the kids, the kids knew. Parents had no idea until game was over. Was 2 MLS Next teams playing one another, one from DMV and one from NJ.[/quote]

Likely an MLS Academy scout...not a USMNT scout. Big difference. DC United scouts are at most local MLS Next games. [/quote]

USYNT scout at three of our games so far and they would sit in the middle between the two teams.

DC MLS Next scouts have been to a few of our games.  Sometimes he sits on the parents' side, towards the end and other times I've seen him on the other side in the corner but away from coaches and players.[/quote]
