I think you can figure this all out op. Think really, really hard. We didn't need a thread on this.
+100 The left really loves to gaslight this issue. First, the border was "secure." Then, there was "no border crisis." Once Democrats could no longer keep the obvious from the entire world, Biden decided he could actually sign an EO and lo and behold, numbers went down. That he didn't sign that EO years ago is his shameful legacy. And yet, Democrats continue to gaslight. "No issues at the border, what are you talking about?!"
Biden and Harris deliberately opened the border when they signed executive orders repealing Trump policies. They sent the message to human traffickers and economic migrants that the border was open. After undoing every border security measure for over three years, they have the nerve to blame Trump for their deliberate open borders policies, because their lousy border bill didn’t pass. They could have signed the executive order years ago instead of six months before an election. They are insulting people’s intelligence with their gaslighting over the border crisis. I voted for Trump the other day because of this unchecked immigration disaster. No country can sustain uncontrolled mass migration. And I believe that’s what we would continue see in a Harris administration.
Exactly. Democrats clearly think Americans are stupid. I'm no fan of Trump and almost considered voting for Harris, but I kept coming to the same conclusion you outlined. Harris may be talking (relatively) tough about the border while she campaigns, but if she wins, she'll just capitulate to the LWNJs in her party who want lax immigration laws. No thanks. Guess I'll be voting for Trump after all. "Many (immigration) advocates say they are reluctant to level any criticism that could hurt Harris during the election, even as they plan for an all-out fight to shape her policy afterward." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/immigration-advocates-keep-quiet-as-harris-talks-tough-on-border/ar-AA1rMz7A?ocid=BingNewsSerp
