BU is a city school with no campus.
BC would be W&M's northern peer imo
This is offensive to BC, a high quality elite private college.
*Yawn*
I get sleepy when caught lying too
There is very significant applicant overlap between the two schools. Please try to stop being so fragile and incapable of not trolling.
Sure, I'm the troll when the rankings show a very different reality between W&M and Boston College. It's like you guys have ear plugs to any real, grounded position of where W&M is academically.
I didn't realize rankings were the only metric by which colleges could be compared. You're clearly too clueless to handle these discussion. Just a few years ago W&M was ranked higher than BC but clearly there's such a massive academic difference now that rankings more focused on diversity are only able to capture. And funny how students don't seem to think it's *so* much more prestigious https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=College+of+William+and+Mary&with=Boston+College You're a troll because you're quite aware of these things, and yet you try your hardest to cherry pick little data points that let you spin a false agenda and stir up trouble. Clearly you think that having nothing of value to post means you still need to post anyways.
Casually gonna move my eyes away from the very low confidence level and lack of data Parchment has...
Also think it's gross that you disagree with rankings because of diversity. Shows what kinda person you are that that brings you anger. Glad to know W&M is a whites-only school that my kids will not be attending. This is repulsive.
And the trolling continues! I disagree that pell grant population % at all reflects the quality of a school's academics. You obviously aren't very bright if you think that means I'm suggesting diversity is bad. Your kids should probably aim a little bit lower if they're anything like you.
Now I know you're a troll, because you know exactly what dogwhistle you meant by diversity, but whatever. OP head to Richmond. The ones at W&M seem hellbent on racism and classism.
No, you just obviously can't go 5 seconds without being disingenuous. Diversity is great and I am by all means in support of increasing it in colleges, BUT that does not at all reflect the quality of a school's academics. End of story. Also the rankings are only interested in pell grant percentage/SES diversity. Nothing about race (funny how you're trying to suggest only white people can be financially well off)
You clearly were trying to racebait. And now pulling out conservative talking points. Yes Karen, race correlates heavily with SES, is that too extreme for you or can you process that without bringing up Obama's kids.
You're literally the one racebaiting. Forcing schools to tokenize underprivileged people by making pell grants a part of rankings criteria is not how you increase diversity in a school. Plenty of poor white people receive pell grants as well, especially in Virginia. Encouraging prestigious schools to almost completely wipe out the middle class does not increase diversity. And I'm still waiting for you to explain how pell grant population has an impact on academics. Seems like you've got nothing.
What if you didn't feed the troll?
