Friend B was wanting the treadmill for free since the beginning, even when Friend A had the potential to sell it. That, to me, is the part that would annoy me. Especially since Friend B has so much more money than Friend A. If nothing else, and I were Friend B, I would have paid for the treadmill because I could afford it and my friend could use the money. I'm in a similar situation to Friend B (literally just paid for the second of two ponies yesterday...) and I do things for my friends all the time to the extent I can. This would have been a no brainer for me. So I think Friend B is a jerk. [/quote]
