Oh, that's easy. Because they've only been invited to the "white" club most recently (mostly post-WW2). Their position within the dominant caste is most tenuous and therefore, they are most extreme in terms of enforcing racial lines of demarcation. [/quote]

My family is Eastern European meets Anglo Saxon. The eastern European conservatism has nothing to do with joining the dominant caste (???) recently. It has to do with traditional values and an abiding dislike of socialist type policy. I saw some support of Trump round 1, less now after Jan 6. They also have an abiding dislike of dictators and any kind of election grabs. Sometimes values clash, and since Biden has little appeal it's a tough time to be an old world conservative. [/quote]
