No, the GOP just eliminates the number of places to vote in minority majority precincts and purges the voter rolls of eligible voters (https://news.berkeley.edu/2020/09/29/stacking-the-deck-how-the-gop-works-to-suppress-minority-voting), including 1.4 million in Georgia and 460K in Ohio in recent years, in election years. They then require things like drivers' licenses to vote under the pretenses of protecting against voter fraud, knowing it can be costly in time and money to get one (with 20 million voting eligible Americans lacking such identification). In Texas, a handgun license is an eligible form of ID but a student ID isn't (https://lettexasvote.org/bold-solutions/accept-more-ids-for-voting/). Why is that? Why not just bring back the poll tax or only can vote if your great, great, great, great, great grandfather could? [/quote]
