OP here - because she has worked so hard and yes, Michigan seems like a lot of fun and just as good of an academic experience as the ivies. She wants the rah rah and to be around a lot of smart kids doing great things. (Plus she wants to move on to the fun of finding a roommate, buying merch, meeting other incoming Wolverines online. She’s just plain done!)[/quote]

Thank you for taking the time to tell me how "everyone" would react to my pretty specific situation of having a kid who just got accepted to Michigan, is on top of the world, and just made a reasoned decision to move on with her extremely privileged life and not wait on her Cornell ED chances.
