We will retire next year to our condo in Park City, Utah. Believe me, our kids and friends cannot wait to visit us as frequently as possible. B'bye, D crappy C.
We have friends who are retiring to their house ion PC, and they also will never want for visitors. If you ski, it's truly one of the best year-round retirement spots you can think of.
+1 If you move somewhere fun, then your friends and family will want to visit. I'm the pp who said I'm probably retiring to Rehoboth Beach May-September and Florida the rest of the time. We know lots of retirees in Rehoboth Beach. Their adult children and grandchildren visit frequently, especially over the summer. Same with the retirees who retired to Florida at or near the beach. Plus you can go visit your children and grandchildren during the off season.
I couldn’t stand the summer traffic there.
