Almost everyone (if not everyone) in the 150 submitted an ED. So you have 25 who were successful and many if not most of this crowd were heavily hooked--I know kids in the group who are legacy x 2 parents, siblings, uncles, etc. Others who are the kids of VIPs. Still great results and very smart kids but many of these kids were going to these colleges from birth. They just needed to not mess up. [/quote] NP here but my hunch is ED is used loosely to mean an early action of any sort (ED, SCEA, REA, rolling and EA). And I can’t think of any school without some sort of early option. Privates really push getting at least one application in early. [/quote]
