Look, I didn't really care about these people before this whole thing but I find their involvement extremely weird and their behavior makes no sense for people who I'm sure are being advised by PR people, lawyers, agents, etc. I was once asked to provide a character letter to someone who I felt confident had done what they were accused of (this was in an academic setting, not for a court), and even though I don't think this person was a terrible person, I declined to do so because... why? He did something wrong, he can face those consequences. It's not my job to get involved and help him out. I wished him luck and moved on with my life.

None of the other peers from That 70s Show wrote letters, btw. A couple of the older actors, now in their 70s. None of the others who were Danny's peers at the time, including Topher Grace and Laura Prepon. I get why he wouldn't ask Wilmer Valderama (has his own issues with sexual assault) but Grace and Prepon are relatively successful, prominent actors. I'm guessing there are reasons he either didn't ask them, or they declined to do so. Ashton and Mila could have been in the same category. Just be quiet and let him deal with it himself.[/quote]
