OP here. I am so grateful for your prayer. Thank you.

I have been following some suggestions here. I am resumed going to church (even though it’s not a “perfect fit”), listening to WGTS, listening to Bible study podcasts and taking time to reflect. It’s all helping, though not as much as it has in the past and I don’t know why. Still, I’m making some progress and I credit the kind advice here for giving me direction.

I feel bad for accidentally setting off such a heated debate (two, actually!). Sorry! I didn’t see any responses when I first checked back, so I didn’t think I needed to monitor the thread closely. Whoops!
