College education primes you to be a Democrat. Most urban areas have high concentration of college educated people, and they tend to make higher incomes. College education among women especially is the primary driver - feminism and careerism widely promoted in colleges tends to be in contradiction with traditional family roles, religion, and lack of choices when it comes to reproductive health (and less control over your life). It's not rocket science. Most people don't think too hard beyond what's shoved down their throats and try not to dwell on nuances. Same goes for the republicans.
George Santos lies through his teeth about being educated to win as a republican. If lower education levels are more appealing to republicans, there would have been no need for that particular con. Low level educational attainment does not prime one to be a Republican.
I didn't say lower level of education is "appealing" to the Republicans. I am pointing out the fact that colleges don't usually just teach academic subjects and specific trade skills. Colleges tend to harbor more "progressivism" than schools, wouldn't you agree? Also.. People who vote down strict party lines sometimes are one-issue voters. Abortion can be that one-issue for many people.
