Honestly, UMD could fill a big chunk of their freshman class with kids from top MCPS and HCPSS students. Students that are accepted from the top 10-20 maryland public schools are really ton students. It is unfortunate that Maryland has such highly rank public high schools and really few public university options. My friends from Virginia have many more and higher ranked options for public universities.[/quote]
