She is their mother. Your kids could benefit from seeing the sacrifice she will make to send them to private school. Do not compromise and run at a monthly deficit and spend the college fund on this. FYI, most kids coming out of private schools don't get scholarships either unless there is a sport involved. Admittedly, your child will likely have a better education and higher sat scores. So you will still need to pay the tuition at the nicer college your kid is likely to get into.[/quote]
