He spins a story as if he was a super warrior when in reality he did nothing but hurt himself. He failed in marriage and was abusive. According to his ex wife he would wave guns around when they argued and when she wanted to leave he held a gun to his head and threatened suicide.

He's a complete loser and an f up but has puts in enough effort in presenting a fake front, just like the Not-so-proud-anymore boys, that he's able to fool some of the uneducated who lean in the same direction politically.
