The British monarchy is probably the best known monarchy around the world and at one time was the most powerful and richest. Queen Elizabeth was loved by most and I think because of her, the continuation of the monarchy was accepted. In the little time since her death, there are grumblings from Scotland and Northern Ireland about moving toward independence. This thinking is contagious and could spread to other countries financially supporting royal families. But more to your point, there probably were plenty in attendance that didn't feel a large sense of grieving or loss.[/quote]
