Hi, I just saw this and I don’t know if you are still reading it if you are tired/burnt out by now. :) If you are still going, here are my questions: What do the next few years look like for my younger teen? And for me: am I locked into my current patterns/responsibilities or do I have more to look forward to?
Hello! I cannot read for you teen because it is you that is coming for the reading. I will look into the energy around what you have asked for yourself. Even without focusing on your question or pulling cards I can tell you that there is always more to look forward to! The word “Change” popped into my head. I sense that on the surface, you have more of a fixed personality that does not allow for much integration of change on a daily basis. You need to learn to let go of controlling things in a way that it will not create chaos in your life. I feel that your true nature is highly mutable and creative. So it’s almost like an all or nothing with you. Like, if you don’t dutifully stick to these patterns and responsibilities, you will veer so far off course that everything will unravel and you cannot get back to your needed patterns. I feel there is a big lesson for you to learn in this life about achieving balance. You need to learn to strike a balance between what you HAVE to do and what you can truly let go of so that you can make your way to the “more”. For instance, having children/teens and their wellbeing is a HAVE to, but always doing for others that are not a dependent is not. Focus on what you have to do and let go of the rest. Allow change to come in slowly so that it doesn’t overwhelm that which does require your attention. Life is not black and white…it’s time to find the grey. I do feel there is a need for you to be more independent in the places that your can be so you have the chance to explore things that are of interest to you. The card I pulled that represents your current energy is the Empress in reverse as well as the 10 of Swords in reverse. Due to what you are having to take on at the moment, you are not living in harmony with your true self. Because of that, you are stuck in a place that you are having difficulty seeing beyond. Dedicating even 15 minutes a day solely to yourself for whatever you want to do may help get you over the hump. If that means getting up 15 minutes early or going to bed 15 minutes later, I feel it would be worth it. Use that time to quiet your mind, journal, or figure out how you see yourself in the future and what you want. The card I pulled that represents the energy of the patterns and responsibilities that you are in is the 5 of Pentacles in reverse clarified by the 3 of Pentacles in reverse. Your current patterns are not allowing much time for you to be with people outside of who you are with on a daily basis. I feel those outside people may actually be able to help you see where you currently are from a different perspective. So this could be a close friend or family member who you trust, but don’t get to see often. So while these duties are causing you to be where you currently are energetically, you will be able to turn this feeling around as you hold the key to opening a new door. The card I pulled that represents the energy of letting go of these patterns is the Ace of Pentacles clarified by Strength. So should you begin the work of taking some time to yourself and learning to strike balance, you will see new opportunities begin to present themselves to you over time. With the Strength card clarifying, it’s saying to me you will see these opportunities, but may revert back to an older mindset when you think about taking them. So it will require strength and courage for you to accept an opportunity that may come your way. Should the opportunity come, I do believe you should take it and at least try it out so there are no regrets later on. The card I pulled that represents the outcome of you learning to let go is the 10 of Pentacles and the 2 of Cups in reverse. Should you let go, you will see a firm and balanced foundation under you. You will feel more stable than you have in a long time. You will see yourself leaving behind people who didn’t have your best interest at heart and gaining people who help balance you out and allow you to be your authentic self without judgement. I felt the urge to pull a final card. I got The World. This card is about completion and the end of a cycle. Should you let go, you will have “leveled up” and will have the chance to start out on a new journey to help you grow even more. This card is the last in the Major Arcana and I felt a sense that you will see yourself finding that “more” soon. We can be our own worst enemy. Trust yourself. TRUST yourself.
