He followed a pedestrian with his car and then got out of the car. He started any altercation that there was.
If the kid was as innocent as being claimed, why wouldn't he have just stopped, talked to the man, offered to call his parents? This kid, it turns out, had numerous problems prior to this incident. It wouldn't matter whether George Zimmerman followed him because George Zimmerman didn't bash the kid's head against the pavement. Also, if Travon did try to get Zimmerman's gun then his fingerprints should be on gun. George Zimmerman was a part of a neighborhood watch and if I were in a strange neighborhood, I would identify myself, whom I was visiting.
If a stranger stopped me, someone with NO badge, no trappings of actual authority, I would have under NO CIRCUMSTANCES given him any information, offered to call my parents or stopped to talk with him. I guarantee you are a white person and you have never been stopped for being "suspicious" because otherwise you would not think that that was a reasonable course of action for Trayvon at the time. If your daughter was stopped by a strange, large, 250 lb man, would you want her to give out her personal information to him, so that that man could feel comfortable about her right to walk down the street?
