If the kid was as innocent as being claimed, why wouldn't he have just stopped, talked to the man, offered to call his parents?  This kid, it turns out, had numerous problems prior to this incident. Also, if Travon did try to get Zimmerman's gun then his fingerprints should be on gun. [/quote]Uh, how do you know George Zimmerman flashed his easily recognizable authoritative Neighborhood Watch ID at Trayvon???!!!! You know, the one that everyone recognizes and knows is only carried by authorized, licensed, and vetted Neighborhood Watch captains. Well, I'm guessing he didn't because there [i]isn't[/i] one!

This is reminding me of the time I was walking home at night from a party in my small town along a country road. My mom made me go to the party with my sister but when I got there I was just too scared (nerd teen girl that I was) and fled from the house and walked home.  On the way home, a car slowed down beside me which scared the bejeesus out of me so  I took off into the field away from the road.  I had no idea who was in that car but all I could imagine was that they were up to no good. I would have been terrified if a stranger had gotten out of that car and followed me.  If I had had a gun (extremely unlikely but let's say I did), I probably would have pulled it out and aimed it at the car.

My sister told me later that it was a friend from the party hoping to convince me to come back but he didn't want to embarrass me so he told her not to tell me about it. Turned out to have been just fine but I didn't know that at the time.   How was Trayvon Martin supposed to know that George Zimmerman thought he was just trying to protect his neighborhood?  This is why morons shouldn't be allowed to carry guns.[/quote]
