No, there really isn't more to the story imo. Anna was just some serendipitous combination of traits that and shamelessness that allowed her to con many people. Many people we would expect to be extremely cynical, jaded, and suspicious, but nonetheless fell for her flimsy story. She may have been involved in prostitution, but I don't think that was critical to her con. [/quote]

I agree with you, the “con” wasn’t particularly slick or even successful. Most of the time it seems like run of the mill credit card debt and check-kiting until she was able to get that big overdraft from the bank. When I say there’s more to the story I don’t mean to her con, just there’s a lot of questions unanswered. Where did she get money when she first moved to New York? When she came for fashion week and never left, where did she stay? How did she meet “Chase”? How did she pay for things for over a year, before all the events of the show?[/quote]
