Following this thread makes me happy that we live in one of the more sane parts of the county.  At the end of the day, who cares how many students are masked or unmasked?  The great thing about the new rules is that everyone gets to make their own choice.  (And, if one follows the actual -- and not just the political -- science, one should know that unmasked students [u]are not[/u] putting their masked classmates at any materially higher risk of Covid infection.)[/quote]

PP here -- I'm sure it varied by class.  Our daughter is in one of the younger grades, and my sense from talking to neighbors and others at the bus stop was that far fewer kids in K-2 were wearing masks than those in the higher grades.  One neighbor sais that his son (also in a younger grade) told him that only ~5 kids in his class were still wearing masks at the end of the day.[/quote]
