Ummm it took her to new heights. Her wedding was in Paris. She went to Valentino’s home there and sat with Andre Leon Talley and other famous fashion icons. She met with Anna Wintour and got the cover of vogue. She got to attend the met gala. She did not have those resources before. Her first wedding had a lot of basketball players, nfl stars, media folks and actors and actresses. She got the cover of people. No matter what Kanye West does he is an icon that has serious connections. She also got her dress fitted in the same room as Audrey Hepburn. She was chasing icon status but now it doesn’t matter because she has 4 kids and she’s gotta focus on them. She made her bed. [/quote]

Also Kim and the Kardashians faced serious public backlash after the wedding/marriage fiasco to Kris Humphries. I think they were well on their way to becoming reality star has-beens. Kanye rescued their fame in a sense and elevated them to a new level. [/quote]
