He was not dead and Jack knew he was living in a trailer in PA. Strange he would call the abusive father and not the brother for the funeral. Jack blames his dad for his limited life with his mom, yet Jack completely prevented his brother from also knowing their mom. Never showed that in the episode.[/quote]
