College coaches have a singular focus - win, and secondarily - produce strong student athletes. KJ and SSSAS has been blessed with families willing to write the $45 k/year SSSAS tuition plus the $5 k in annual travel lacrosse fees and training. As lacrosse programs improved at BI, SR and Visi, KJs influence shrank. Ask any of the families with kids graduating in last 2-4 years how much KJ contributed to the process and you'll find a very common theme. Most did it solo. Just a fact.
