Add to this, that my aunt gave another niece medical power of attorney and a friend power of attorney. I have no legal power at all. All I can do is ensure she doesn’t die in her own waste, in dire pain, since there is no hospice bed. I am grateful for the very caring social worker, very caring hospice nurse/aids/clergy, and a very caring friend who my aunt sometimes treated like garbage. [/quote]
