Charlotte was a Connecticut blue blood conservative sorority girl at her liberal arts college. Women in that orbit marry in their mid and late 20s, period, when their beauty is peak and fertility is high (duh). And also, being single and still doing the "hookup culture" thing into your late 20s, let late mid 30s, is disgusting and sad.
