In your case it seems like it is a lifestyle choice (staying at home, not dealing with the hassles of being a working parent for relatively small net benefit, choosing more fulfilling lower paid jobs) that you want other people to subsidize. many people make sacrifices so their children can go to private schools, such as spending less time with their kids, working despite health issues, or working in jobs they don't love because they pay better. you're asking the rest of us, most of whom make sacrifices or struggle, to subsidize your decision to not sacrifice.
