Whenever and wherever I pass a biker in traffic I always hug the curb afterwards which forces them to stop or pass me on the left, risking their lives. F them.
np Wow. you would knowingly cause harm to another person? You are a monster. What if it was your kid, wife, husband etc?
Call me stupid but I don’t get why this is bad. The biker would only be forced to pass on the left in this situation if they are trying to run a light or stop sign. At least, that has always been my experience.
You don't see this as a problem? They purposely want to cause harm to another person.
But the bikers are not actually forced to pass on the left - they can stop and remain where they are in the line up at a light or stop sign. Overtaking cars in those instances frustrates drivers, resulting in the PP's behavior. And again, it is usually done because the cyclist wants to run a stop sign or red light. I don't agree with PP "risking their lives, F them" comment, but cyclists who overtake vehicles at every f-ing stop sign and light, creating a situation where the driver has to try to pass them over and over again, is ridiculously frustrating and completely unnecessary.
Thank you.
It’s only frustrating because you don’t want to drive at a safe speed and are taking out your frustrations on the biker. It’s not the biker’s fault that you are stuck behind cars every block while the bike lane is clear!
DP: That isn't true. The only way a biker passes a car is when the biker disobeys traffic laws. This forces the same car to pass the same bike over and over again because the biker is not obeying the traffic laws of the road they chose to ride on.
