Next Level ‘28s beat Integrity 11-6 for the NGLL B Division Championship and finish the season 10-0.
What a fantastic season for the 28s. It looks like they surprised a lot of people. NL 27s and 29s unfortunately did not win today, but also had great seasons. NL seems to be building something special. Next season is going to be very important in taking the next steps towards becoming, hopefully, an elite club.
i watched alot of the 27 championship game and came away impressed. To hang with a team that could probably beat 40% of the A teams was impressive for a young team. In fact, if NL would have chosen to play a narrower rotation, it probably would have been an even closer game. Really impressed by two of their starting middies. Club may have a challenge convining them to stay; they can both clearly play at the highest levels of MD youth lacrosse.
So Hero's White 27 (10th of 12 A Division NGLL) played CCLax (9-0 in B Division NGLL) and beat them 10-4. The 11th of 12 FCA Blue A division also beat CCLex. I think your 40% estimate is more like 7%. There is such a gap between A and B.
Agree there is a big gap. That said, FCA has lost to TLC twice, Uproar and Renegades. Reality is that within the bottom 3 or 4 in A and top 3 or 4 , anyone can beat anyone. The only real difference is A teams tend to have a bit better depth. I think we can both agree though that a middle team like Integrity would have a much better chance of losing to HoCo, Stars or CCLax than they would have of beating M&D, Heros or even NEMS
I wouldn't call Integrity a middle A, I'd put them a little lower, but yes, Hero's M&D only really are threat amongst themselves.
