I would think once you've lost control of the car anyone could press the wrong pedal.
Well, why did he lose control of the car then? If you are driving at a safe speed, this generally shouldn’t happen. (Again, this is a single-car accident.)
Well he was spending. Whomp...whomp...something most drivers have done, especially in a really nice car. Glad he didn’t lose his life or injure someone else. Hopefully a lesson has been learned.
In other words, Woods is entirely at fault. It was an accident of his own making. At a minimum, he should be ticketed accordingly, but he really should be criminally charged. The man has no business on the road. I don’t care much if he kills himself, but he presents a serious danger to others.
What criminal charge? Speeding is not a criminal offense.
Ultimately I could see a DUI charge. Experts say his crash is consistent with the type of crash that might occur if a driver isn’t fully conscious/alert. He also had not one but several other known instances of intoxicated and extremely reckless driving. It’s an obvious pattern of behavior for Woods.
He was speeding. There was no indication of alcohol or intoxication. Your just reaching
The indication is that he totaled his car. He didn’t even press the brakes when his car went clear off the road! Don’t be so naive. He has a history of impaired driving. This is something that he has been known to do.
You can’t drug test everybody “because they got in a car accident”. His history has nothing to do with it. You can’t drug test somebody for drinking 5 years ago.
