Well, why did he lose control of the car then? If you are driving at a safe speed, this generally shouldn’t happen. (Again, this is a single-car accident.)
Well he was spending. Whomp...whomp...something most drivers have done, especially in a really nice car. Glad he didn’t lose his life or injure someone else. Hopefully a lesson has been learned.
In other words, Woods is entirely at fault. It was an accident of his own making. At a minimum, he should be ticketed accordingly, but he really should be criminally charged. The man has no business on the road. I don’t care much if he kills himself, but he presents a serious danger to others.
What criminal charge? Speeding is not a criminal offense.
Ultimately I could see a DUI charge. Experts say his crash is consistent with the type of crash that might occur if a driver isn’t fully conscious/alert. He also had not one but several other known instances of intoxicated and extremely reckless driving. It’s an obvious pattern of behavior for Woods.
He was speeding. There was no indication of alcohol or intoxication. Your just reaching
The indication is that he totaled his car. He didn’t even press the brakes when his car went clear off the road! Don’t be so naive. He has a history of impaired driving. This is something that he has been known to do.
Well it appears he wasn’t this time. Also to those asking why he doesn’t have a driver, he has said many, many times that he likes to drive himself. Makes him feel normal. Looking, I’m not caping for Tiger, but he was speeding. He’s a thrill seeker. He was driving a very nice luxury car and wanted to give iit a go. I mean that’s not uncommon. I rented a Corvette for 2 weeks and definitely made sure that 140 mph on the dash wasn’t for show.
Why do you say that? I’d say flying entirely off the road without ever hitting your brakes suggests that something might have been wrong with him.
Because the reports say there was no alcohol or other substances in his system.
Wrong. We have no idea what any toxicology reports may have stated. The police never saw any.
+1 Can you imagone a regular guy getting away with that?
Uh...regular folks get away with it every day. Me included. About 5 years ago I was speeding, doing 97 in a 45, had a car accident that I was able to walk away from and there were no consequences (I mean except for the totaled car, broken ankle, and bruised faced). I crashed into a tree. Passerby’ pulled me out of car, COPS CAME, realized I wasn’t under the influence, DH picked me up and I went home. I was recklessly speeding in a very fast SUV with airbags that probably saved my life. No witnesses, so no ticket. Cops did not request blood test or even perform a sobriety test and I’m black! Ha!
Wow. This is even more evidence that cops will let it slide if you endanger others while driving under the influence.
The PP literally said that they were not under the influence and you base your entire comment on the total opposite. Does anyone read anymore?
