They had infinitely more opportunities than many people - nobody can put you on the track to a better life but yourself, and making your own choices. They were massively privileged just to be born in America. You don't go from being a decent kid to this overnight - there were a series of senseless decisions that they chose to make, even that afternoon, that led to them taking the life of a decent man and choosing to wreck their own lives. I can't muster any empathy for them. Whatever grownup was legally responsible for them should also be charged. [/quote]
