The current system is certainly not "race neutral", when Asians are most of the school, and the cheating has been found at Asian prep centers. There are white people who are admitted, and refuse to attend, because they don't have anything in common with the current population of TJ.  What is wrong with having the students represent the actual citizen population?

Because they point to sports teams and ask why you don't feel the same way about sports (and other activities) where you are fine with the team not representing the actual student population.  You cannot have it both ways, either racially balance everything regardless of merit or racially balance nothing and let merit decide.
And how said is it the white kids are so racist that they will not attend a school where they are not the majority?[/quote]
