There are definitely teachers without ADA accomodations at our school remaining home. Principal hasn't stated why (has said she [i]can't[/i] state why for privacy reasons), but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they promised DL families they could have a virtual classroom, but also promised families who wanted to be in-person that they could stick with their teacher even if teacher stayed virtual. So in these supposed "virtual only" classrooms they would anger a lot of families (including some incredibly active volunteering families) if they suddenly had the teacher in the classroom doing concurrent. So the monitor is in many ways an IA for a teacher who might be willing to otherwise come in.[/quote]
