I am a Jewish New Yorker (Fourth generation!!) and my point was that just because someone eats a food on someone else’s holiday, that doesn’t mean a damn thing. I’m the PP who pointed out that Ashkenazi Jews don’t eat lamb at Passover,.[/quote] Your comment doesn’t make a ton of sense. I was responding to the poster who said “I was raised Christian, but my mom made lamb at Passover.” That comment made it sound like the poster thought their mom making lamb at Passover was a Jewish thing or something (due to the “but” clause). [/quote]
