Now it is getting real. A teacher in DC has died of Covid that was contracted at school. Is getting a few hours of inperson school really worth it? I don't think so. This is why we're keeping our kids DL. No teacher is going to get sick and die because we're stubbornly and insanely screeching that school buildings need to be open. www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/matriarch-teacher-at-ballou-stay-high-school-dies-of-covid-19/2570146/
Literally there is nothing in that article to suggest that she contracted covid at school. She taught at ballou hs. I'm honestly not even sure if Ballou HS Is reopened, but if it is it just reopened last Wed. She did not teach in person on Wed, contract covid and die 9 days later. Try again.
How did you miss the comments from her family? Huh? I guess because they're black you think their voices don't mean anything???
your insane. Comments from her family say things like she was always there for them, she was a great teacher etc. This has nothing to do with the race of her family.
Your response is very telling. I'm saying that you are the picture of white entitlement because of your response and you're calling me insane? Right. BTW it is 9:30 so time for you to log off of DCUM and get some sleep. You have school tomorrow. Hopefully during ELA your teacher will discuss the similarities of you, your, you are and you're. I think you need the lesson! Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.
Better posting with typos than using a teacher's death to attack parents of schoolchildren. The Ballou teacher's death is sad. Let her rest in peace.
Those parents are why she is dead. If they hadn't been so insistent on the RTS she likely would still be alive. They are as culpable as if they had given her the virus themselves. I hope her family pays for contact tracing and goes after whomever it was that infected her.
