[/quote] Yeah I think it was rape in the book (I haven't read it but based on what I have heard) but not in the movie. Same with Outlander. In Outlander the book it is very clearly rape. I think they were both written when romance novels were going through a "lack of consent is sexy" phase, and when the idea of men being raped wasn't really widely accepted. And I get that kink because some people think it's hot when somebody is so into you that nothing can stop them from "having you." But we have to acknowledge that it's still rape. Thank goodness stuff like what was in the books doesn't really fly today.[/quote]
