While OP may not want to hear it, community college is a great way to work on educational skills in a safer environment. And if the student takes the required credits and gets certain grades, they can transfer, thus saving money and perhaps the child's ego in the process. It's a very generous program that too few people in this area take advantage of because they think they MUST send their child immediately into a four year institution. They don't. And sometimes it is better for the child to start at the community college level and live at home. or take a gap year. All of these suggestions go directly to what OP needs to think about for her child with a 2.6.[/quote]
