My great grandparents were born in ireland. I have the first distinctively irish name after generations of Marys and Michael's. I also have a super german name from my dad. Anyone with any sense knows it's 99% that I'm a white woman from a working class family before they ever meet me. I have no shame in that. I also gave my daughter a name that's been called trashy here.[/quote]
