UW has a much broader mission than WU, and is more of an elite institution in terms of overall scientific productivity, impact and breadth. Even in medicine, (WU's strength), UW is arguably an equivalent school. UW does not have the same % of high income students however, so is not as popular among DCUM-types.[/quote]
