Kudos to Virginia.  I think that it should be taught every year in school, but even if it's taught just in one semester, that is better than nothing.[/quote]

But, when Virginia did that, it did so at the expense of the performing arts of music, band, theater and chorus instruction time.  They could have made a better trade-off.[/quote]
