You seem confused by legal protest which is very easy to do, and illegal protest - blocking traffic and violating the rights of others. yes, the latter is "mischief". [/quote]

Please tell Donald Trump that it is "mischief" so he will call off his thugs. Graffiti was also considered "mischief" not long ago and not worth enlisting federal officers to shoot at Americans exercising their constitutional rights with rubber bullets and tear gas. I wish we could go back to normal, pre-Trump America when we all knew "mischief" was not a federal offense.[/quote]

I agree. I am fine with the regular police arresting the Georgetown mischief makers. I believe the federal officers are/were deployed in Portland to protect federal property that the city was not protecting? Doesn't seem unreasonable to me .[/quote]
