Wtf are you even talking about? Why would you be worried about her children? They don’t abuse their kids. This is as simple as an extremely special needs child, needing a better fit.

You realize that is code for they were not willing to put in the effort for this kid and get him the therapies and change their lifestyle like most good parents would, it was easier to get rid of him using the fancy term rehoming.  Look at the code - multiple assessments and evaluations.  No discussion about therapies, changing their routine or lifestyle, etc.  They wanted a perfect child to fit into their world they could use to make money and when he didn't fit that mold and was not an easy fix they got rid of him.

It may not be "ok" but you do what you have to do to make it work.  If I had to choose my husband over my child, which thankfully I don't, I would choose my child.   What are you teaching your other kids?  What are you teaching this child?  What kind of person are you to make a commitment and not follow through?

If your child had severe SN, would you just throw up your hands and walk away so you can have a better and easier life or would you make it work?  Once you adopt, this is your child.[/quote]
