You disagree with labeling him a hero.  That's fine. But, and this may come as a surprise to you, you are not the sole arbiter of this.  To a lot of people, especially in Los Angeles, he *was* a hero, for a variety of reasons big and small.  You may not think those reasons sufficient, but again, not your choice.

And for the record, I think it is "incredibly distasteful" to police and dismiss others heartfelt sentiments.  [/quote]

Agree. People died and these posters seriously feel the need to police others. Your feelings are your own. If you don’t agree with the people mourning then don’t post. No one is forcing you to call him a hero or care. Go back to your corner and sulk to yourself. [/quote]
