Well you added more misinformation.

The SoccerPlex is not the same as JWMS.  Totally different company, product and materials.

YES, teachers salaries are cut to pay for this.  MCPS takes money from the Operating Budget to pay for MSI Soccer fields.  That means less money to pay teachers.

MCPS has not been able to charge anything for field rentals.  They don't rent the fields and the imagine rental fees never came in to the County.  MCPS has been using Operating Budget funds to install and replace these fields.  [/quote]

I can tell that you have no business background. It takes money to make money. Do you know how much more money MCPS can charge for field rental of turf instead of grass?

You parents are trying to be alarmists to get people to revolt against this turf field because your legal case got thrown out the door about a year ago. I know you’re bitter but please, this is for the 20,000 plus kids that loves to play soccer in our area.  Grass fields get closed each and every time it rains and they can’t practice there during the winter either. Please have some heart![/quote]
