People use the same reasoning to justify illegal immigration.  I don't know how many people I've talked to who have told me "Well I would have done the same thing in their situation." Um, okay, but it doesn't make it right.  Taking something that isn't yours is NEVER right.

I'm sure most people would steal a million dollars if it was something that they could get away with, and you can have all sorts of noble reasons behind it.  There's nothing wrong with wanting the best for your child, wanting them to have a life where they can go to college or not have to worry about medical bills, have money for a wedding, a house, etc.  There is, however, something very wrong if the way you go about it is by theft or fraud.[/quote]
